Review and Giveaway: Nourish Natural Bath Products

As a Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon ambassador, I wanted to let my readers know about some local vendors who will be featured at the race’s Fashion and Fitness Expo. This expo will be held April 7, 2017, and is free and open to the public.

Nourish Natural Bath Products produces high-quality bath products by hand, in small batches. The ingredients are beneficial to your skin and safe for your entire family. In addition to bath products, Nourish also produces soy candles, moisturizers, and aromatherapy items. If you have little ones, Nourish even produces a line specifically for babies.

Nourish’s story began when Shoshanna Walker and her mother began making soap in their kitchen. From the beginning, they insisted on using the highest quality ingredients and staying committed to reducing their carbon footprint and keeping the planet clean. Today, Shoshanna and her husband, Corey, continue these values with an expanded product line and several retail stores.

Nourish stores are located in Savannah GA, Sandfly GA, Hilton Head Island SC, Melbourne FL, and Pigeon Forge TN. You can also purchase products online.

As an ambassador, I received moisturizing wash, bath fizzies, a soy candle, and lip balm to try for myself as well as share with you.

Nourish’s products are great any time of the year, but wonderful during the winter months. Even though I live in the South, it gets chilly here and despite the high humidity, the air dries out your skin. The body wash left my skin hydrated and left my bathroom smelling wonderful. It lathered well and wasn’t too thick or too thin, and I didn’t need a ton of body wash to get the shower all sudsy. The lip balm is great for lips that get chafed from winter runs.

Like most runners, I also enjoy soaking my legs in the tub and relaxing, especially later in the day after a long run. Sometimes those runs can be a little chilly, and if I don’t take a hot bath, I stay cold all day. The bath fizzies added to that recovery experience and seem as hydrating as the body wash.

As for the soy candle, I’ve been burning it in my home office all week. One of the advantages of working from home is that you can burn candles while you work in your home office. The scent filled the entire second floor of our home and made working the week after Christmas much more tolerable.

I was impressed by all of the products and encourage you to check out this small business, either online or at the expo.

In the spirit of giving, I’m giving away 3 bath fizzies and a lip balm to one lucky reader.

What a great giveaway. I always find that my skin dries out so badly in the winter. Honestly it’s wherever I live…Texas, Upstate NY, NJ…my face is always dry!

  2. I wish I could run it with you! I will be VERY pregnant by then, though. Hence, I would like to try the baby soap 🙂

  3. Gwendolyn Jordan says:

I would like to try the Nourish Line, I really like the idea of Natural products for my skin

  4. Pam says:

Nourish sounds like a great product line. After perusing the website, I see many items of interest, However, the Citrus Splash Shea Butter Cream is the product I would most like to try. My hands get so dry in the winter, especially after visits to MA to see my mom.

  5. Coconut lime Bath fizzies sounds like something I would love!

  6. Missy says:

I’m interested in the moisturizing wash. Hard to decide on which scent though!!

I would life to try the lemon eucalyptus bath salt. Sound amazing after a nice long run!

Oh the salt scrubs would be my favorite to try for sure! I love a good salt scrub and I saw they have a raspberry scent. (also my favorite!)

  10. Maemi says:

It’s inspiring to see the family business flourish, with everyone’s support and dedication. Their Ocean mist, Olive oil and Shea butter soap sounds amazing.

  12. craftyone says:

I want to try the pure unscented shea butter body cream.

  13. Love this review, Amy! I so enjoy hearing the stories behind a business. It just makes it more personal and special. I went on the website and everything looks and sounds amazing! I think if I had to pick one thing, it’d be the coconut lime soy candle. I am all about candles lately!

  14. Christine says:

Happy New Year Amy! Thank you for the review. I’m all about transporting myself the islands any time I can. The fragrance that takes me there in a nano second is the combination of Coconut and Lime. My choice from Nour.ish. would be the Coconut Lime Hydrating mist. The bonus is that you can put it in the refrigerator for sunburn use.

  15. Happy New Year Amy. So fun you are an ambassador. That half is one I would like to run for Georgia (vs the RnR one). I look forward to hearing more about it as you train for it. Oh so unfortunately I won’t be able to make it to the Bridge Run this April (family event). If you or anyone else you know would like a bib at a discount ($35) I would be happy to transfer to it them and cover the fees for that.

  16. Theresa says:

    Bath fizzles for sure!! 🙂
