Merry Christmas- From our home to yours!

I hope everyone is having an amazing day with their friends and families today- I know I am!

As for us, my parents visited on Christmas Eve and we exchanged gifts, ate muffins (Pumpkin Spice!), and drank coffee I made in the Keurig.ย I worked out (legs), and Clay and I watched some football (Go Panthers!). We also have a Christmas Eve tradition of eating Chinese food and watching A Christmas Story– that’s how we celebrate Christmas Eve :).

On Christmas Day, Clay and I will wake up and exchange gifts/stockings, then we’ll head to Hartsville to Clay’s family’s house to grill and exchange more presents.

In the spirit of Christmas, I’m posting pictures of my Christmas decorations- We don’t have many visitors, and I didn’t do all this decorating for only 5-6 people to see it.

I wish I could host a Christmas party and fly my faithful blog readers down to South Carolina to enjoy the decorations and our beautiful weather. The only white Christmas you’ll see here is the paleness of everyone’s arms and legs because we’re wearing shorts and t-shirts. It’s been unseasonably warm but great for running, biking, or being outside.

So, here goes. Enjoy, and have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season!

Thanks! It’s lucky bamboo, but you are so right… Clay’s mom actually has an ornament on her tree that is a palmetto tree (our state tree) with Christmas lights strung on it! Plus some people actually decorate those trees in their yards, if they have them!

  8. =) I wouldn’t need a plane ticket!!! I’d just need a cup of coffee and maybe some coffee cake waiting for when I got there. Just give me about an hour =)
