Weekend on the lake

Yep, it’s another blog about my weekend.  I don’t ever really have much to say during the week, because I spend every week the same way: I work, go to the gym, come home, chill out and sleep, and do it again.  There’s nothing new under the sun there- just a lot of writing online help, reading, learning about software, meetings, etc.

Clay and I went to see his grandparents’ this weekend.  They live in the mountains of NC, and they have a boat, so we got to spend lots of time out on the lake.  I totally love bodies of water such as lakes and rivers so of course, I felt right at home.  We had a really awesome time too, boating, tanning, reading, swimming, sightseeing, and eating a picnic lunch on the boat.  His grandparents are pretty awesome, and his grandma reminds me of my grandma who passed away when I was a junior in college (RIP MaMa, I really do miss her a lot).  His grandpa is really nice too; I’ve never met my grandpa (either one) so it’s cool that he has one around that I can get to know.  Here are some pics from the weekend:

Here are some ducks we saw on the lake. I barely got this pic, but they were so cute.

Everyone dreams of a house on a hill, but do they ever think about mowing the grass?
